Cancellation and Refund Policy

 

At Home Store, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We understand that sometimes plans change, and you may need to cancel or return your order. This policy outlines the procedures for cancellations, returns, and refunds.


1. Order Cancellation

a. Before Shipment

  • Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placing them or before dispatch, whichever is earlier.

  • To cancel an order, please contact our support team at homestoresoffice@gmail.com or call us at 7550233135 with your order ID.

b. After Shipment

  • Once the order is shipped, cancellations are not allowed.

  • In such cases, you may initiate a return after receiving the product (see Return Policy below).


2. Return Policy

We accept returns under the following conditions:

a. Eligibility

  • Products must be unused, in original condition, and returned in original packaging with all tags, manuals, and accessories.

  • Return request must be raised within 7 days of delivery.

b. Non-returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective:

  • Opened electronic items

  • Personal hygiene products

  • Items marked as “Non-Returnable” on the product page

c. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Email us at homestoresoffice@gmail.com with your order ID, reason for return, and product photos (if applicable).

  2. Our team will verify and approve the return within 24–48 hours.

  3. You will be guided on the return shipping process.


3. Refund Policy

a. Refund Method

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method (Credit/Debit Card, UPI, Net Banking, etc.).

b. Shipping Charges

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a damaged, defective, or wrong product.

  • In cases where shipping is free, the actual shipping cost may be deducted from the refund (except for damaged or wrong items).


4. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product:

  • Report it to us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the package and item.

  • We will offer a replacement or full refund, including shipping charges.
